What will I experience during a service/celebration at Ark of Jesus Ministries?
During our celebrations we will have a time when a number of songs are sung, some fast some slow. Everyone is welcome to participate in this unifying expression of acknowledgment and appreciation to God. The words of these songs are put on a large screen so that all can read and sing along. This is a time we call Praise and Worship.
What is Praise and Worship?
It is a time when songs that talk about God’s faithfulness, strength, love, mercy, kindness, forgiveness and more are sung in reverence to God and a type of reminder to us of His character.
Do I need a relationship with God to attend?
No, all are welcome and you come as you are.
How should I be dressed?
We believe that Christ Jesus came for souls not clothes so we do not have a dress code for our services/celebrations. You may find some attending in recreational, casual and business attire.
How long are your services/celebrations?
Our celebrations starts promptly at 9 AM and end around 11 AM.
Do I have to give money when I come?
There is no cost to attend and we do not require you to give any money. During our celebrations we will receive tithes, offerings and sacrificial gifts. Generally, this is only done once during our celebrations expect for special occasions. You are encouraged to be persuaded in your own heart if to give and how much.
Is there something for children?
Yes, we have what we affectionately call “Children’s Church.” You may allow your child/children to go there or to remain with you in the celebration.
Do you have other times that you come together?
Yes, we come together to study the Bible. This is 7 PM Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8:30 PM. All are welcome.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes. We provide transportation to our scheduled celebrations and membership is not required.
Will I need to pay to get transportation?
No. There is no monetary cost to you. You will need to call for our transportation the day before the celebration you desire to attend. You must inform us of your name, address, and phone number. Someone in transportation will inform you of their expected arrival time. You are simply asked to ready and waiting for transportation to come. Further, NO FOOD allowed in the van.
